FLORENCE HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Boys and girls swim team claimed a huge win in a Tri meet against Florence and Apache Junction. We had a overwhelming amount of first place finishes. Alex Beam broke two personal records in the 100 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke. Hunter Sinclair participated in his first swim meet EVER and broke a minute in the 100 Freestyle! For the girls, we had a solid A relay squad (Sadie Edwards, Ryan McCann, Katie McBratney and Polina Tetyutskikh) for the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay placing first in both events. Freshman MaKayla Hartman and Kennedy Hartman had stand out rookie performances as well.
This year we have some phenomenal athletes as well as overall depth that will get us some big wins and hopefully a top contender at State again!
