Boys Varsity Basketball

Coach Ryan McCurdy was born and raised in Arizona where he played high school basketball and college ball at Northern Arizona University. He also had the opportunity to play basketball professionally overseas in Europe. Coach McCurdy graduated from NAU with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and recently obtained his master’s degree in Education at NAU. While working to complete his master’s degree, Coach McCurdy began coaching freshmen boys’ basketball in 2012.

Coach McCurdy is entering his second season as the varsity head boys’ basketball coach of the American Leadership Academy Patriots. Coach McCurdy is passionate about coaching the game he loves and is excited for this upcoming season.

When Ryan is not coaching, he's teaching Physical Education at American leadership Academy. Coach McCurdy currently lives in Gilbert with his lovely wife Corie and baby Jaxen. Coach McCurdy is thankful for his wife’s endless love and support.
