Announcements and Important Events
Congratulations goes out to our junior high track team and coaches for their achievements in the CAA state track meet. Patriot boys took the state championship, while the girls took 2nd place.
Kawai King led the team in points and secured a Gold medal and state record in the 100m hurdles, silver medal in high jump and bronze medal in the 400 and a 4th place finish in the 200.
Ryan Meza also contributed big to the win with a gold medal and state record in Long jump, a silver medal in shot put and a bronze medal in the 200m.
Other state medalists include Draysen Hatch - 800, Hudson Lee - high jump, and Miles Johnson in Discus.
Alona Haymore led the team with 4 individual medals including a Gold medal and State record in the 800m, a Gold medal and state record in the 400m, a Silver medal in the 1600m, and a bronze in the 100m.
Evelynne Carr took individual gold and set a State record in the 1600m, and a silver in the 800m, a gold in the 4x400 relay, while also scoring in the 400m.
Tatum Rollins took the Gold medal in high jump.
The girls 4x4 relay team of Lilli Tebbs, Kenly Key, Evelynne Carr, and Gracyn Goeckeritz took gold.
Other medalists include; Alexsandra Carroll, 100m hurdles, 4x100 relay, Lindsey Brewer - High jump and 4x1 relay, Kenly Key - Long Jump, 400m, Gracyn Goeckeritz - 4x1 relay.
Coach Brewer won JR High Boys Coach of the Year.
